I am a licensed massage therapist working in two salons located in Des Plaines and Niles, IL. (See below for salon address locations.) In addition, I can travel to your home or your business office to provide you with a 1-hour professional massage using my portable massage table. I am available to travel to Northwest Chicago and NW suburban areas in Illinois to provide you with a relaxing massage therapy session. Please note that round trip travel charges will be charged at $0.50 per mile. Specializing in therapeutic massage as a drug-free way to maintain health by relieving stress and pain, I will work personally with you to determine the best massage therapy program for your situation and your health. Your session can include aromatherapy candles or incense for room scenting and music to increase your relaxation and therapeutic results. Full-Body Massage - A relaxing 1-hour massage that uses a combination of various massage techniques. This massage will loosen & soothe tight sore muscles, increase circulation, and improve overall skin and muscle tone. Full-Body Deep Tissue Massage - During this 1-hour massage therapy, I concentrate on areas of tension and pain. I use some of the same massage techniques that I use in the full-body massage, but the movement is slower and the pressure focuses on deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and painful areas such as your neck, shoulders and lower back. Sports Massage - The sports massage is a special massage administered before, during and after an athletic event to enhance performance, prevent injuries and aid in their healing. It helps to reduce fatigue, relieve swelling and muscle tension, and increase the endurance of the athlete. Hot Stone Therapy - Hot stone massage is not only a relaxing massage method, but it also has many healing properties. During this 1-hour session, heated stones are used and placed over the back and hands to increase circulation, assist in toxin elimination, and balance the body's energies. Also, the heat of the stones will open the pores and prepare the skin to better absorb massage oils. This therapeutic technique increases the body's healing process and helps the client manage severe aches and pain. Hot Stone Therapy is available for an additional $20 charge. Chair Massage - The chair massage is a 15 or 30 minute relaxing yet energizing routine for your neck, head, shoulders, back, arms and hands. My clients find that the chair massage is one of the most economical and effective ways to help reduce the effects of stress and headaches. Chair massages are available only at the Niles, IL location and at your-office/event appointment (see below) for the low price of $1 per minute. Deep tissue massage is an additional $10 charge. Corporate In-Office or Event Chair Massage - I see clients in the comfort of their office, event or party location within the northwest suburbs and NW Chicago area. I also give chair massages at the Niles, IL salon location. Chair massage helps you feel refreshed and rejuvenated, helps relieve headaches, stress and refreshes the individual so they can go on with their day. Onsite chair massage is a great incentive and added value to have in your office or at your event. These settings are optimal for 15 or 30-minute bodywork sessions. Chair massages are available at the low price of $1 per minute with deep tissue available for an additional $10. I am available for weekly or monthly visits to your office in the northwest suburbs. I also visit nursing homes and assisted living complexes as well as events and parties. Please note that travel charges are assessed at $0.50 per mile round trip.
