From Thumbtack Customer

Riches Resource LLC
I hired Riches Resource LLC through Thumbtack for plumbing repairs and unfortunately had a very poor experience with follow through and completion.
I paid the invoice on December 30 for $1,120, with the written scope stating:
“Repair lines in basement to bathroom. Sewer line for toilet not connected correctly. Sink, shower, toilet, all leaking.”
I was told via text that the work would be completed by Tuesday, January 6.
After payment, communication became inconsistent. I was repeatedly told the issue would be “checked out,” but I did not receive proactive updates. Each time I followed up, I was informed of a new issue rather than confirmation that the original scope had been resolved.
As of the time the job was considered “completed,” the toilet was left disconnected, and leaks were still present, despite the invoice explicitly stating that all leaking fixtures were to be repaired. This caused significant issues, especially since the property had an active tenant and required immediate resolution.
While the company later offered to return and “look at it,” the lack of timely updates, incomplete work relative to the written scope, and delays created unnecessary stress and ultimately required me to schedule another licensed plumber to resolve the issues.
Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend getting very clear completion confirmation and documentation before finalizing payment
