If Thumbtack had a lower rating than Terrible I would definitely give it to this company. Terrible company to work with. I dealt with a representative with this company named Salvador Ochoa. Rep kept calling me to do the work after I contacted Thumbtack. Which was no problem because I had two other bids for the work to make a decision. Made the decision to go with Salvador Ochoa(Brothers Landscaping) because of the best deal. The deal was, "As per our phone conversation on 5/16/17 the mulching, edging, and cleanup will be done on Friday, 6/2/17, for 5 yards of mulch at $350.00." My mistake was that I didn't hold him down to a specific time. I followed up with Salvador on 6/1/17 to make sure everything was good to go since he never replied back to my text on Thumbtack that I placed on 5/31/17. He tried to switch my day to Saturday, 6/3/17, and I declined that because I scheduled a day off of work to oversee this mulching project and make payment when completed. When I made this appointment he checked his schedule to make sure it can be done which he agreed too. He then stated that he had a bigger project then mine to complete in the morning and he would do my project in the afternoon but never stated a time. He showed up at 4:30 pm. I stated you can get started but payment won't be made until Saturday, 6/3/17, because I had another commitment that evening and I wanted to see that the work was completed to my satisfaction before payment was made. He stated that he couldn't do that. So we agreed for him to come back on Saturday. He said he would return between 8 and 9 AM. He never showed and so I called him back at 10 AM but I never received a call back and again he never showed. I'm reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau and if I was Thumbtack I would definitely drop them from my list of contractors.
