Introduction: I recently moved back to the Chicagoland area after almost a decade in San Francisco and wine country. I am excited to bring my California style cooking to the Midwest! I cook everything from high end, farm-to-table dinner parties to casual family gatherings. I want all my clients to enjoy delicious meals made from scratch with the most quality ingredients available.
I love making people happy through the food I create! When I can take someone's vision for their party or event and make it a reality, it is the best feeling in the world! I also have a passion for introducing people to new styles of cuisine, and the experience of eating fresh and local food.

Katie created salsa and tacos for an engagement party we had. The food was delicious and unique. The salsa was made with different colored tomatoes from a local organic garden. Fresh seasonings were combined with a hint of vinegar, making just the right flavor and spiciness that was well received by our guests. The taco meat was a marinated pork butt cooked in a slow cooker, resulting in a tender meat that was the perfect combination of salty and fruity. Condiments included sour cream, fresh grated cheese, chopped lettuce, and pickled red onion. People particularly raved about the pickled red onions. The buffet serving was efficiently set up and easily used. I will hire Katie again for future events. Her creativity, cooking skills, and service were just what I was looking for.

Everything Katie prepares is nothing less than awesome. She prepares healthy food using natural ingredients and makes those dishes taste amazing. Not only is her food delicious, it is prepared to perfection and looks so beautiful. She is a competent and confident wonderful chef!
