Within days of accepting an offer for our house, there were heavy rains for several days. Wanting to check on our sump pumps, I found water puddled in an area of the basement near a thin crack in the wall that had always been there with no issue. In the 28 years we had owned the house, we had never had water in our basement. Thanks, Murphy's Law! Of course, this had to be immediately remediated. I jumped onto Thumbtack to seek a company to immediately come out to look at the situation and advise how to fix. Within the hour, Frank from Best Solutions responded to my inquiry and was at my house the next day. He put me ease that it's not unusual for settling cracks to form in the basement cinder blocks over the years and that the issue was limited to this crack only and was easily fixed. Frank's estimate for the work was fair and I hired his company. The following week (fortunately no rain!), Jesse came out to do the work. He took great care in his work, even patiently explaining to my brother over the phone his exact process on fixing the issue. The work was done in less than a couple of hours and I was very satisfied with the work done. Heavy rains a few days later confirmed the water leak had been fixed.

Frank's company does work throughout the Chicago area. I would not hesitate to contact Best Solutions again for any future basement repairs. I've given his contact information out to several people.

Frank and his team did an excellent job. I needed my sump pump discharge drain and gutters routed away from my house properly due to water issues in my crawl space. Highly recommended.
