I am very pleased with the work done by ChiTown Laser. Of the profiles I saw for handyman on Thumbtack, this one checked the boxes. I needed drapes hung in two rooms, plus dining room hutch lights not working right. I received a quick response after my submission. I sent several pictures, and ChiTown Laser said he could definitely do the work, plus he was available the next day at 10 am. There was an issue with the elevator in my building, so could he walk his stepladder up the steps to second floor if needed? Indeed, he could. The estimate was reasonable. So, I hired him. He showed up promptly as promised, and set about hanging the drapes, stopping periodically to ask if this is how I wanted them. The second room went smoothly, as well. The lights took a bit of investigation as the problem was more complicated than I realized. But he figured it out, offered a solution and set about with the fix. I was delighted. There were a couple of other minor items I had on my list while he was there, which he took care of without issue. I would definitely hire him again, and I recommended him to the management office in my building. Nice guy, great demeanor, whose skills far exceed my small problems. Check out his profile. If you are looking for a reliable, skilled handyman at a reasonable rate, this is the guy for you. Highly recommended.

He went above and beyond when modifying my door and installing the smart lock when things weren't nearly as simple as we expected, including running to the hardware store and getting alternative screws. Chi town laser did nice work painting on exterior and glazing windows. Also cleaned gutters so it was good to get it taken care of at one time. Very happy with the job.
