had them remodel my kitchen and the work is beyond my wildest dreams! He made my vision a reality. He gave me creative freedom and didn’t question what I wanted. Just let me have it! Will recommend to all my friends and family!

Hired on Thumbtack

Disappointed. Quoted $600.00 for 3 rooms and charged additional $230.00 for a 10 ft. hallway. Painter claimed that he hates doing trim, didn't expect to paint windows. I guess he is used to houses with no windows or doors. About 25% of trim was undone or not done well (2 doors not painted, painted around removable over the door hooks, trim in hallway partially painted and needs a second coat and painted over peeling paint on window sills). I hate leaving negative feedback but, I wish I had known.
Storm design and builders's reply
Well this is an odd feedback considering the circumstances. Was informed there was no windows, or doors to be painted at all. I was also informed there was no ceilings to be painted. Only trim work and walls. I was also not given information on accent walls in two rooms. I was also explained that all furniture would be removed and there was furniture all clustered in all rooms. Lastly I was also told prior to leaving the job site "that everything looked great!" Obviously this is a false feedback. My contract states the exact work that was to be completed and that work was done accurately! There was approximately 9 windows added, 6 doors, a ceiling and a hallway with a large amount of trim work including drawers. None of this was in the contract and customer stated they understood. This is a false review along with having lack of truth, or facts.Check with any painter and see what they would charge to add the amount of work that was non contracted and the amount furniture moved that was stated would be. ALSO there is no listing of scraping, priming, or anything to denote that the customer wanted this nor was it in the contracted signed by the customer The amount would be huge. I have attached pictures to prove my point
