We take pride in the level of skill, experience, and care that we are able to apply to each and every patient. Harmony Health is a spa-like oasis and a tranquil retreat from the usual hustle and bustle of our lives. All of our treatments are conducted in private rooms, which ensures that our patients have the highest level of privacy when discussing sensitive issues. Some insurance policies cover acupuncture for certain conditions and, although we don’t process insurance in our office, we are able to provide you with a receipt that has the correct billing codes on it, which will help you to be reimbursed for your treatment. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Your first appointment generally takes about an hour and 15 minutes, and follow ups about 40 minutes. This gives you plenty of time to talk with us and to ask any questions you might have. It also allows time for us to ask you lots of questions, as well as to examine your tongue and take your pulse in the service of making a Chinese medical diagnosis. Acupuncture points will be chosen according to your diagnosis, and other modalities may also be performed or suggested, including moxa, gua sha, cupping and massage. We may also prescribe some Chinese herbs or other supplements. We take great care to explain what we are doing and nothing should hurt or be uncomfortable. In fact, we hear from patients all the time that they love coming for treatment simply because it is so relaxing.
