I have hired Mara Overbey for two projects. The first was a kitchen/dining room/bath cut rehab. Mara was responsible for the design, product selection and general contracting. Mara did a great job at using her resources/connections to get high quality, but cost effective solutions/products. This rehab immediately increased the rent I received for this rental unit by $600 a month. I sold the property two years later. I had 10 offers before it was listed on the MLS and two of those were cash offers. This was, in part, due to Maras beautiful design.
The second time I hired Mara Overbey was upgrades and staging for another property I will be putting on the market soon. Mara was responsible for picking out new hardware for doors, baths, kitchen, picking paint colors for the entire house, along with new carpet and kitchen countertops. I then hired Mara to stage every room of the home to put it on the market. We anticipate a $30,000 return on investment and my realtor believes it will sell within days after listing it on the MLS.
Mara is not only great at what she does, she is fun to work with
