Taking pilates with Wendy Helton at her studio Swan Dive has been one of the most transformative experiences for me. The combination of her knowledge, skill and interpersonal skills is unparalleled. I know few people who have the talent, intelligence, and emotional intelligence that Wendy possesses, and I have gained so much from having taken pilates with her twice a week for over 10 years. Aside from the joy I receive from each class, I can tell you that my body is completely different from when I started. My tush is tighter and stronger, as is my core. I feel great and look great too. I can talk to Wendy about anything from health, fitness, beauty, to politics and religion and she is one of the most insightful people I know. I started out with her to strengthen my pilates skills to keep fit but I have gained so much more from my relationship with her. I can't praise her enough. I've also recommended at least two people to her who have become equally devoted to her professionally and personally.
Easy and convenient to find. I went to the studio instead of having in-home training because it was close enough to me and the studio is really spacious. Alex choose a nice variety of yoga, pilates, and TRX. I was really surprised because I didn't feel like I was working that hard - but was sore for a couple days after our first session!
I have worked out with Debbie at the Midtown Athletic Club for over 10 years and she is amazing! I will always recommend her to others as someone who is extremely knowledgeable, patient, observant and makes working out fun! Her expertise in pilates, dance based classes and personal training is excellent. I wish she had more classes on the Midtown schedule!

Vidya is an EXCELLENT teacher of Yoga. Weekly classes are varied, interesting and fun with a focus on all parts of the body...even breathing. Vidya is aware of students' skill levels and adapts movements for each participant, enabling all to participate, no matter their ability &/or limitations. I look forward to each class and leave the session feeling wonderful, enriched and grateful for my time with Vidya and the members of the class.

Her acute and accurate eye along with her ability to correct and fine tune your movement is phenomenal! Very professional and very gifted instructor.
