Introduction: I love to photograph anything, from children to weddings. My studio is in Geneva but I love to shoot on location. My passion is portrait photography and I have been published in several magazines. I have great locations and a simple approach to photography---the photos are all about your loved one(s)--I don't use a ton of props, instead preferring to concentrate on my clients, however if you have props you'd like to incorporate, I am all for it!!!
I am the house photographer at the Sears Centre which has been an amazing experience! Event photography is super fun, and I've seen some amazing performers along the way.
I was voted *One of the Best Photographers* in Kane County in 2013 and voted *The Best Photographer* for 2014 by the Kane County Chronicle and my goal is to always have happy clients. I will go that extra mile for my clients. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact me!
I provide an online gallery for all clients and most packages include all of your digital files, with a print release. To book your session, you must sign a portrait contract and pay a $150 retainer to hold your date and time. No sessions are considered confirmed until I have both items.

We had our maternity pictures and our newborn pictures done with Missy Donovan Photography. The maternity shoot lasted over an hour and she captured some awesome moments. She was also open to some suggestions that we had. She would put herself in the strangest of places or positions just to capture the right picture!
For our newborn shoot we were one of her first clients. She was very patient with us and the baby. She took her time and was not rushing us if the baby needed a feeding or diaper change. She captured great moments that I will cherish forever.
Missy listens to suggestions and has so many different ideas. She is passionate about her job. We also had so many laughs. We felt very comfortable with her. She does a wonderful job. We would recommend her to anyone.

Missy was able to capture some of the most beautiful pictures I have seen of a rambunctious 2-year-old. She also has a knack for making even the most in-photogenic person (aka me) smile naturally and almost look human. Totally awesome experience. Fantastic photographer.

Our photo experience with Missy was amazing! Prior to our shoot, she quickly responded to any questions we had. She picked an absolutely beautiful location, and spent an enormous amount of time with us. We are a family of 7, and our kids loved Missy. She made some of the pics available to see within hours, and our full gallery was finished quickly as well. Missy is extremely conscientious about her work. Her photos are beyond beautiful, and we will absolutely have her do our family pictures again!
