- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Landscape & garden designs start at $70.00. *Design fee may be higher depending on the scope & size of the project. *Design fee includes x1 draft mockup (spring, summer, fall), x1 round of revisions, x1 final design planting plan, x1 final mockup (spring, summer, fall)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) We'll schedule a new client phone call or walk through of the space. I'll gather needed measurements, note sun orientation, surrounding landscape, and soil condition. Most importantly, we will discuss your goals, your vision, your budget, and VIBES! 2) I'll email you a digital seasonal mockup, which shows you my first draft of your design and what the design will look like in spring, summer, and fall *at maturity*. 3) I'll take your feedback and make any necessary revisions. 4) You'll receive my final design with a planting plan and final seasonal mockup via email. 5) If any further revisions are needed, they can be made with an additional fee. 6) Depending on client goals, I can provide an estimate for plant sourcing, installation, or planting supervision/ flagging. 7) After the client's design is installed, they are free to reach out with questions on care, maintenance, etc. of their plants! I won't leave ya hanging!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
No formal education, but I'll do you one better- I have passion (; I've gardened for years, grow my own flowers, veggies, & native plants from seed, work at a garden center, and do online trainings & certifications to expand my knowledge and expertise.
