I needed a water heater installed on the main level of my 1950's cape cod home which has a finished crawl space. After removing the old heater the floor boards had severe water damage. I picked up a few general contracting & plumbing business cards and started making calls on a Sunday. Pappas Contacting was the only one that had someone available to speak with and they even arranged to came on site on Sun. evening to check out the situation. Larry and Carlos came to my home and quickly understood the breathe of the project and the urgency of the repair. They also discovered a crack in one of the main floor joists. Larry & Carlos worked on the repairs and they did an AWESOME job! They are reliable, dependable, friendly, and have very fair pricing! Pappas Contacting will be my first choice for my future projects and I highly recommend you give them a call for your home repair needs.

We had a leak in the kitchen on the ceiling near the sliding glass doors. Larry came to troubleshoot and tried various things to see how the water could have leaked to the ceiling. He was tenacious and was willing to come back several times (during the hottest days of summer!) to access and work on the roof and siding. He found that the builder did a subpar job in putting the siding up. He fixed the siding so that we no longer had to worry about water leaking during bad storms. Inside, he taped off the area to put up plastic in case there was a mold problem. After taking out the large piece of drywall in the ceiling, we luckily did not have mold. He made sure that there was no damage to the inside of the ceiling on the wood and insulation. The drywall was replaced and the taping and painting was done. You cannot tell that anything was done - he did a great job making the ceiling look as good as new. The kitchen was cleaned after the drywall was put up and painted. The owner contacted me to be sure I was satisfied and if there was anything else to be done. With the good experience we had on this project, we were confident in their work and had them come back again for another job in the basement.
