Well, I have an open format, and base the lessons off of what he student wants to achive. from there I develop the lessson plan. It can be hard when someone wants to learn songs, and how to play with there friends, and they come to lessons only to be drilled with scales. Other students who prefer a more rigourous training will benifit from my 22 years of experience with music and the instument itself. I love to watch the growth in my students. It is so gratifying to see the joy come alive when they complete there first song, or accopmlish a scale for the first time!
