FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

As a member of the American Institute of Architects, AIA members are required to complete 12 hours of Health & Safety education annually. The total annual number of continuing education hours required are 18 hours, which includes 4 hours of sustainable design education.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Not sure who to hire? Like any individual, get to know the company you are about to hire. Know the person you will be dealing directly with and feel comfortable. Review their work and ask for customer reviews. It is not always about price, you will need to work with an individual several weeks and must trust their judgement based on information you provide them.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

There is a value in Architecture. Look at what is being constructed by developers. Ask yourself, is that what you want?
