FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My beginning process for working with a new customer is to first find out if we are a good fit with each other. I seek to establish awesome rapport with my new customers, and enjoy creating a natural flow of comfort and ease for you to feel like you are just having a conversation with a good friend. I laser listen to what are your concerns, the ways in which I may best support you and help you accomplish reaching your goals. I gently move into more insightful questions, conducting a discovery session and if you are not totally clear in the areas of what it is you seek, I ask a series of deeper, yet more insightful questions to help you mine the gold from that part of yourself.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While I have college schooling and am a certified professional life coach; it is my studies and first hand experiences in life that has helped me expand the wings of my coaching abilities, actually all my abilities. More so, it the school of life that has been my ph.D guru...my greatest, most brilliant, informative and wisest teacher. With each year of my life...I continue to keep myself relevant and in the cue of expanding my knowledge and growing my understanding. Yearly, I enjoy being an 'active' life long learner, continuing to enroll myself in new various curriculums, workshops, classes ...along with adding new certifications, leaping into learning newer skills to grow the life branches of myself.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Actually it was just a natural progression. I've always had all kinds of people, strangers and friends who were late night callers...those who seemed to think of me as a human help desk or road side service. It was the same way when I was a child too :) It was as though I had a sign on my back that said I was some kind of coach. But of course, I really didn't. In addition to friends and family, complete strangers seemed to also feel comfortable sharing their 'what should I do' quandaries with me. Often times, people would even confess their deep secrets to me. It would happen in stores, on the street, in the ladies room, in lobbies or almost anywhere I was at. It was the oddest thing. That is...until it wasn't. But I loved it. I have always enjoyed being able to help people discover a solution to their problem. My experience in this field began to evolve and chart its course in the midst of my vast music career adventures as a major label recording artist. This was my training ground for something I had no idea was also unfolding. The road to music landed me with all sorts of awesome opportunities to further evolve and expand my manifold mouthpiece talents into accelerative coaching and award-winning speaking/communications.
