The team at Cartage Home Remodelers are very responsive, friendly, flexible and most importantly - do a great job. I've had them work on my kitchen and bathroom and could not be more pleased with the results! Add in the fact that the prices are fair and they've earned themselves a long time customer for any of my remodeling or 'fix-it' jobs that are well outside my ability (that's most of them sadly). Thanks!

Cartage recently completed a full renovation of my bathroom. The project included new walls, floor, tub, copper plumbing, tub/shower, and tile work. Maria did a great job with the permit process and moving the project along at a quick rate. Christopher's work on the bathroom itself was great; he is an excellent craftsman and pays attention to all the small details. The result was very professional and I would not hesitate to recommend their work to a friend.

About this pro

We stand by our work and do not make excuses. We are human so if there was a mistake, we correct it. We are interested in building relationships, so we stand by the quality of craftsmanship we promise and if there is a problem - we fix it. The amount of detail we take care of is over and above what we have seen other contractors offer. We consider the entire project from beginning to end to be our responsibility. So if we are doing a kitchen, it is not completed until all you have to do is prepare a meal. We like getting to know our clients and enhancing their homes by paying attention to little nuances that we notices during our interactions. We feel that keeping to a budget is possible while at the same time offering alternatives to fit the family lifestyle. In many cases we have been able to offer good "growing" advice, specifically to our clients with little kids - they grow up pretty fast so our designs are developed with the idea that the kids can grow into as they progress through their development as well.

    Q & A

    • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing system is the easiest we have ever come across. We also have a variety of all-inclusive packages for bathrooms, kitchens and even for a handyman project. We researched our competition and refined what we felt was fair and reasonable. We are not the cheapest but we are by far not the most expensive. Quite simply, you pay for our experience in the industry but also receive incredible service and attention. Our pricing is simple-fair price for incredible work!
    • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, we are careful to research, study and implement new techniques that will maintain us on the cutting edge of the industry. We take classes and obtain certifications as much as we can in order to expand our base of knowledge. We maintain relationships with other contractors and trades in order to continue to learn. Learning is a lifelong experience, there is always room to grow.
    • How did you get started doing this type of work?
Just a natural process. We both have over twenty years of experience in construction as well as related fields (real estate, property management, mortgage financing, commercial construction, project management, construction litigation). As homeowners and seeing the challenges in the residential remodeling industry, we felt confident that our combined experience would provide a boutique remodeling service without the boutique tag. We enjoy making our client's remodeling dreams come true.
