Kristi is amazing! My daughter was afraid to get her face wet but after only a few lessons she was swimming! Kristi is patient, professional and the most knowledgeable swim teacher we've ever worked with!

Gil has done a great job assessing and improving Jakes batting skills to become a better player. His style of instructing is both motivating and fun. After 2 hitting lessons we have seen an improvement in Jakes hitting skills. I feel Gil has the knowledge and expertise to prepare Jake for tryouts next week. .

My daughter was an average swimmer and wanted to make the New Trier Swim Club. I knew she needed swim lessons in order to have a chance at making the Team. One of my friends recommended Bill. Through his excellent coaching and instructional style, my daughter's swimming improved ten fold and she made the Team. I would highly recommend Bill for new swimmers as well as experienced swimmers who want to improve their time or stroke.

My son joined Priscilla after his junior year in high school. He had a rough year and wasn't sure if he wanted to continue with the sport. The team ended that year as one of the top 5 in the state. It was going to be a very competitive team the following year. We found Priscilla with the hope of regaining his confidence and improving his strokes and turns. She did way more than that for him. In a very short period of time, she identified the changes he needed to make to improve his swimming. He not only was able to improve his swimming in the stroke he initially wanted to work on but improved in other strokes as well. He made regional times in the 50, 100, 200 and 500 free, 200 back, 100 butterfly and 200 medley. Additionally, he had a state time for the mile. He had only worked with Priscilla about once a week for a few months. His most proud accomplishment was swimming under 1:50 in the 200 free at sectionals during his senior year. His confidence increased as he learned what he needed to do to "fine tune" his strokes. Priscilla provides a positive atmosphere and flexible scheduling. She demands a lot from her swimmers but coaches in a non-threatening manner. My son found her very easy to talk with, looked forward to working with her but knew he would have to work very hard every time he was with her. She provided a very positive experience and my son will be going back to her during college breaks. He ended up swimming in college which I don't think he would have thought was possible until he worked with Priscilla.

About

I break down everything I teach to the smallest scale to make sure each and every student understand everything I say and teach. I adjust my speed and technique to each individual students needs. In addition, I am willing to spend time to really perfect something a student is working on or rotate to something new if a student is stuck or frustrated. Practice is important so just because something is learned does not mean I do not review at the beginning of each class to guarantee prolonged learning. Teaching swimming is not just something I do, it's a passion so not only do I enjoy every second of it but I also make sure to constantly improve and grow in my technique and teaching ability to guarantee student success.
