The installer was communicative and experienced. When it turned out that the wallpaper we ordered had some manufacturing issues, he explained why he was unable to install it (and after looking it up online, he is completely right). He did not charge us anything, even though it did take an hour or two out of his day. He cleaned up the area nicely before he left too. We will definitely reach back out when we purchase a new wallpaper.
