I need the pests removed from attic. Offering to just “clean and seal” rather than remove critters is not an appropriate solution for customers.

I think there has been a misunderstanding. You called about the trapping and removal of critters, particularly squirrels and raccoons. According to Illinois state law, wildlife (like squirrels/raccoons) removal requires an entirely different license which is unrelated to structural pest control. While we are fully licensed to do pest control, we are not licensed nor do we perform wildlife removal, as that would be illegal. We still tried to offer help by doing what we are authorized to do and experienced at, which is identifying and sealing points of entry (something you had also asked us to do). We could have explained this on the phone but my understanding is you were not interested in further continuing the conversation.
Thumbtack is aware of the misunderstanding, which they assumed responsibility for by apologizing and refunding us.
