Introduction: I opened my business in 1999 and have experience working with many types of clients, providing professional images and services. I love working with clients and my experience helps to provide fun sessions that are laid back and natural. Moms appreciate my attention to emotions and my ability to capture children's personalities as well as the bond between family - Dad's appreciate my focus and ability to make sessions painless and often quick (not due to lack of time, but because I get everything I need quickly - my expertise in this helps me to guide the sessions in a way where we don't have to spend a long time taking pictures) and children love me because I encourage them to play and really enjoy the session. I do NOT want a photo session to be me directing you and waiting until everything looks posed and perfect - often, the best pictures are taken when you are getting into your pose. :) I guide, but I do not miss those shots that happen naturally.
I love the actual session, being with the people and getting a glimpse of them and who they are. I also LOVE post-processing. There has not been a moment that I can recall where I didn't have some files on my computer that I was post-processing. I am in tune to the emotional aspects of life and because of that, I can take a session - which may have seemed to you a pretty decent session - and then come back to you to show you breathtaking images leaving you to wonder when in the world I captured the image you are looking at. While you may be off reminding one of you children that if they come back and focus they will get the treat you promised, I will most likely be taking pictures of your old child and dad, which you missed at the session - and will be so happily surprised at the viewing. This is my absolute passion and I aim to impress you. I see the uniqueness in each person and family... It is my goal to 'focus' on that.
