FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Our most common types of jobs are (1) routine lawn maintenance, and (2) cleaning jobs, and (3) one-time landscaping jobs For routine lawn maintenance, most of our customers hire us on a weekly (occasionally a bi-weekly) basis for us to come out and mow their lawn. We of course trim anywhere our mowers couldn't get to, and we edge our lawn to create a nice clean cut between the lawn and any hard surfaces like driveways or sidewalks. The trimming and edging parts in particular help us set our work apart from the cheaper labor (high school kids) that you can sometimes hire during the summer months. Our reliability and thoroughness helps set us apart quite a bit from inexperienced companies and lower end work. For the one-time landscaping jobs, this encompasses a lot of items and we usually do a couple of these each year for our regular customers. We do things like tree/shrub trimming, weed whacking in the beds, shrub/tree removal, planting new shrubs or trees, laying mulch, and other things along these lines. These items generally require us to see the situation with our own eyes first, so we almost always go out to our customers homes to give them a free quote before starting work. For our cleaning jobs, we offer both recurring cleanings and one-time deep cleans. Most of our customers are recurring ones where we do it on a once-per-week, every-other-week, or monthly basis. Most homes in the suburbs take around 5-6 hours each time for a recurring cleaning, but for a one-time deep clean it can sometimes be quite a bit more. We always work hard to send the same cleaners to your home each week, because as we get more accustomed to your home the cleaning becomes more efficient and we can do an even better job each time.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We had a particularly challenging job at a house that just went on the market. It was under a very tight time constraint because the realtors already set up the first showing, but the property was a mess from the previous renters. We needed to get them a quote, get it approved by the property managers, and then perform a LOT of work extremely quickly. The property manager who sent us the job approved our ~$3,000 quote very quickly, thankfully, so we were able to get in there right away. We sent a crew that spent over 20 man-hours detail cleaning the interior (including power washing the pool area), and our separate lawn care crew trimmed every bush and tree, cleaned out all the beds, installed a lot of mulch, removed dead bushes/plants, mowed/trimmed everything, bagged and hauled away everything, and made the property look like new again. We're proud of this job because (1) we were able to complete it within the desired time frame, and (2) the before and after difference was about as extreme as it gets in this business.
