FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
No, not at the moment I am not involved with formal continuing education in my field. I never had any formal art education growing up until recently when I earned my Digital Art/Design degree in college. I invested myself in earning that degree to make myself more credible and recognized as a professional. It did not change my style or outlook on art. It just made me think deeper creatively with more possibilities, and to problem solve digitally. Whether you do or do not have formal art training to become a recognized graphic designer/artist professionally in your field really makes no difference. It is only a matter of perspective attitude or state of mind your judged on. What DOES matter in the end are the digitally manifested successful results. Where they successful within the creative guide lines set up and agreed upon for that project within reasonable means? I do not think it is more important to learn every latest creative software for graphic designers/artist as they come onto the scene as much as staying present about what people are interested in seeing. Graphic designers/artists can do a lot of tricks already with different software, but if you want a specialty expert in a particular software usage, then seek them out instead.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I did not decide to get into my line of work overnight. It chose me... I had always been an artist my whole life as long as I can remember, starting off with the fine arts in school art classes, and then wanting to expand and evolve my knowledge of art and design in college by going digital. That process has helped me brainstorm mature, innovative, forward thinking concepts and creative ideas for projects. Whether for personal usage or professional gain, makes no difference on how I approach a project. It has my equal attention and merit.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common type of jobs for clients would be for either business advertising/marketing materials in some way, or personal projects. Whether it is a quick short-term job, or an even longer more involved project.
