Introduction: I am a DJ located in Oak Park/Chicago. I specialize in mixing a variety of house music, trance, techno, and open format (all genres). I can cater my sound for a variety of events from chill and lounge music perfect for a cocktail lounge or party, to an upbeat dance floor, a backyard bash, to an all out rave. I have regular DJ gigs at Beer Shop in Oak Park, have DJed an event for FFC gym, have DJed for the Chicago Hounds Rugby team, and other private events.

We've hired Matt many times not just for his DJ sets, but also for his enthusiasm to collaborate on sets and events. Our guests always find him personable and his sets full of energy. While his main squeeze is deep house, it's always the preference to work with a DJ who is creative enough to offer a variety of experiences and that's what he does. As a business owner, we also really appreciate that he utilizes quality equipment and brings in his own aesthetic. I hired DJ Matt Wylde for our Halloween party two years ago, and he was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere he created was perfect for the occasion. He played an awesome mix of Halloween-themed tracks and popular hits that kept everyone dancing all night long. His transitions were seamless, and he really knew how to read the crowd and keep the energy up.
