Great experience with Chris. He called a few hours early in the day to let me know he might be a few minutes late, but ended up right on time anyway which was a nice surprise. Him and his guy Nick took good care to wrap my furniture and strap them down in the truck to prevent things from moving. Also was extremely careful when moving my stuff into the new two story townhome which I had just got painted. No marks on the walls, quick, and professional. Great experience and I highly recommend.

Well I had a heavy lifting job that went very well. The team had to move a sofa, two antique arm chairs, a queen size bed, a large / heavy wall unit and sleeper sectional.
They were very efficient, careful not to scratch or damage anything, and wrapped & secured everything perfectly on the truck. I liked the fact that they took time to carefully setup my living room furniture especially the wall unit and even re-adjusted it when asked with no hesitation.
The only thing I would suggest they work on is being prompt. However, overall I was very pleased with their work and even gave them a tip!
I will definitely hire Illinois Valley Movers again!

I hired Illinois Valley to move 3 bedrooms of large, heavy furniture and a large sectional. My new home had white walls and I was nervous about damaging my walls with having such big furniture. The guys at this company moved my furniture without any scratches or damages to my walls, they also finished in a timely manner and they were very nice & pleasant guys!! I am going to rehire them this week to rearrange my furniture and assemble my bedroom sets.

Local move of a 2 BD townhouse w/garage. Had 3 movers and a large truck.
Movers were on time, polite and thorough. Fragile items were wrapped and treated with care. Move was completed in less than 3 hours. I would definitely use them again.

They were a little late but that was understandable as there were bad storms that day. The guys moving the furniture out were friendly and worked very hard to remove the furniture. If I need to remove furniture again in the future I would definitely use them.
