Dan (the owner) organized everything perfectly, let us know what was happening/going to happen every step of the way, and was extremely responsive concerning issues and questions that came up along the way. The carpenters and drywallers/painters did excellent work, everything looks great. They were also friendly, punctual, prompt with their work; they protected our floors and furniture, and cleaned everything up afterwards. It was not the cheapest estimate we got, but the quality of work is worth it.

Alumni Builders was an amazing company to work with on our home renovation. Dan was very professional and upfront with all costs, both expected and unexpected. He was thorough with our contract and allowed us to make changes along the way. He was in communication with us during the entire renovation and would let us know what the upcoming work would be as well as the name of who would be performing the work. We have a six month old at home and Dan was as accommodating as possible with his schedule & needs and understanding of my concerns (paint fumes, etc.) The quality of work was excellent and our basement has been transformed! I would absolutely recommend and rehire Alumni Builders for any future projects we might have.

Alumni Builders helped my wife and I make our basement our dream gym! Their communication was fantastic, all of their employees were polite and respectful of our home, and it was a fast turn around. Dan and his team manage to not only provide great quality they are very organized and deliver on time! I have used Alumni for two very large remodelling projects this year. A full remodel of my unfinished 100 year old basement to include a new bathroom and a full second floor including the remoding of the master bath. I could not be happier with the results. Highly recommend!

Our pricing is not just an estimate but the actual number for which we will do the job. The only estimated items are items that are hidden from sight until actually starting the work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always start with an in-home free consultation during which we assess the project, listen to the customer's plans, advise on design ideas . We present them with an itemized written quote allowing for options where the customer still needs to make decisions, and upon agreement we draft the contract with the final decided details included .
