I provide exceptional on location wedding and portrait photography across all genres. I shoot in a classic style that is timeless. I always maintain a commercial standard of quality and superb service to all my customers.
Before I was a photographer, I was a business relationship manager for a major Fortune 500 company. My love for working with people and families has really transitioned to my work as an artist. Currently, I have several years experience as a professional commercial photographer.
I enjoy the experience of creating art that is personal to my customers. In most cases, my clients and I will work step in step - I take my role seriously, but I always keep things light ! By the end, we will feel and engage more like friends. I learn to understand the personal journeys of the couples or families that I cater to. In my art, I strive to capture the individuality of each person in the composition of images. I tell and re tell their stories through the body of work I produce for them. .

We are still waiting on the results and photos, but just wanted leave a review on how kind, professional and fun Erika was at my friends elopement wedding! She showed up a little early, was ready to go, and helped direct groups when we were very lost. It was clear she knew what she was doing, and was a great additional to the wedding.

Absolutely in love with our wedding pictures!! Erika helped me with a lot of issues with trying to make sure we had enough time to get enough photos since we had a micro-wedding. We ended up with over 200 photos in just a few hours. I was very nervous we weren't going to get hardly anything pictures in but Erika defiantly had a plan and stuck with it. She was making sure she took every photo we asked for plus way more!! Also very fast to get pictures back! :)

My wedding day was 9.29.23 and Erika did a fantastic job capturing our wedding day! Erika and I met several times prior to the wedding to discuss details. She helped to build out a schedule so we could capture every moment. The pictures Erika provided were absolutely gorgeous! I have to be honest and say there were some photos I didn’t even know she captured until I received the final album, which is amazing! She was really part of every moment. Erika also brought in a second photographer, which I also recommend as we felt like no part of our wedding was missed! I highly recommend Erika and her team. I have no regrets of hiring Erika to be our photographer! Her style is so unique, truly classic and overall beautiful.

Erika took my weddingphotos last summer and did a beautiful job. I think she even traveled a few hours to get to where we were getting married. She was patient with my large family and all the specific requests. The pictures were beautiful!

As a person who is extremely camera shy, and not even done that many photoshoots, my natural energy and exuberance never shows in professional pictures. And that's always been disappointing. I mentioned this to Erika before reaching out to her. In our photoshoot, she took her time with each of the pictures with the outfits I had selected.
And needless to say, I got the incredible quality of pictures I have only imagined before! It's even better that her excellent work comes at a very affordable price for solo photoshoots. If I ever need a photographer in the area, I know who to reach out to again. 😃

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have a standard pricing system but its a little complex to explore in detail in this small box. In general, I maintain prices at an affordable rate and price on project to project basis.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will initiate our relationship with a consultation in order to build trust and learn more about your vision and goals. I have a special appreciation for learning your personal style and stories so that I can incorporate it into our art.
Depending on the type of shoot, I will organize a meet either in person or by phone. This provides an opportunity for us to level set expectations regarding artistic vision, costs, and time. For formal events, a professional photography plan will be created in collaboration with you as well as the event coordinators.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Targeted Training in Photography, Lighting and Composition, and Service Management. Wedding Coordination.
