Silent Icon Studio
About this pro
The artist was rude. He couldn’t accept it that I wanted a local artist. He blamed me for not putting “local artist wanted” in my posting. Conversely, two other out of state artists graciously understood my desire without a problem.Nov 20, 2017
Fantastic experience with Jason at Silent Icon Studio. Truly. On time, attention to detail and he really took time to make sure what was in my head, made it to the design and end product. Can't wait to work with him again.Dec 1, 2016Verified
I needed to have a logo recreated from an old sweatshirt so it could be printed on new shirts. I sent Jason a picture of the sweatshirt and he took it from there. The project ended up growing somewhat and I asked him to create three versions of the logo, all of which came out great. Jason was extremely easy to work with. He was very responsive in all of our back&forth discussions, and kept me informed of his progress, checking in frequently and making sure all my requirements were being met. The end products were exactly what I was looking for and I am very pleased with the entire transaction.Feb 8, 2017Verified
We were looking for a wedding invitation icon, and our experience with Jason at Silent Icon Studio went above our hopes. He's talented, knew exactly what we wanted in an illustration, prompt, and flexible. Amazing work!Feb 8, 2017Verified
Hiring and working with someone online can be stressful. Fortunately, I found Jason. Not only does he do great work, he communicates clearly every step of the way. Emails are answered in short order, which is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. His rates are very reasonable and he worked with me to refine my illustration until it was dialed in to my satisfaction. Every project has a different aesthetic, but if it looks like Jason's style fits your needs, I can't stress how highly I recommend his work.Dec 23, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Standard pricing is very difficult in this field, as each project is custom and specific for the client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to figure out what the customer actually wants to do. I then move to skethces, laying out the entire project, and send samples of the characters that need to be developed. Once layout and feel are approved, I move to a full drawing, followed by color layouts. Once those are approved its all about finishing the painting and making sure the customer is happy with their final project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a BFA in illustration. I have a deep and layered knowledge of design, and an in-depth knowledge of computers. I am constantly drawing, be it cartoons or working with real life models, to fine tune my artistic craft.
