- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our rule of thumb is: 1 second of animation = 1 hour of work, and 1 hour of work = $60. Please note: this is only a starting point. Depending on the complexity of your animation and a several other factors, that price will fluctuate. We offer free consultations and never charge for phone calls or meetings — you only pay for when we're doing the work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process works in 3 phases: 1) Consultation 2) Production 3) Finalization During the consultation, we'll ask several questions and discuss your project in depth. Following our call, you'll receive a formalized project proposal that includes a timeline and quote. Once we agree on all the finer details, we'll send you a contract and an invoice for an upfront payment (depending on the project, this will be somewhere between 25-50%). Upon payment and signature, the fun begins! During production, we'll take your vision and turn it into reality. Once we have a finished version -- what is called a "rough cut" -- we send to you for review. During finalization, we'll go through a few rounds of review and edits until the animation matches your vision perfectly! Once we hit this point, I'll send out the final invoice for the remaining amount. Upon payment, your final animation will be delivered.
