    If you drop off your equipment, and are being charged for labor at an hourly rate, make sure you are billed for the time the tech was actually working on the problem and not waiting for scans or installs to complete. This is "dead time" and the tech could be actively working on another machine while the scans or installs complete. This is especially true when paying for Malware removal. Sometimes the scans can take many hours. You do not need to pay for a tech to "watch blue bars move across a screen."
