- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge for materials and installation/labor. The customers always save about $3-5 per yard with exactly the same product compared to other companies or stores.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First they call and ask for an estimate which we make an appointment for. We then measure around the area of work. I show them samples of carpet and padding and let them choose what they want. After all of this is done, we make a contract specifying everything that will be done and the total price. We then ask for a 50% deposit and then ask for the other 50% when the job is finished making sure the customer is 100% satisfied.
