FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first ask them how they got my information,so I can thank the person who referred them to me. I then get all the information about the job that needs to be done. If I can, I arrange to look at the job with the customer. Then I work up an estimate for the work, & call the customer back to rehash the scope of the job, & give them a price verbally. If the customer wants me to do the job, i then make sure they understand the terms of the contract, & arrange to do the job. New or old customer, I always have a contract which the customer must sign before the job is started.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started doing electrical during the summers at a young age, & learned alot of what i know with on the job hands on training. I also took courses on construction in high school at the davia trade center. I am constantly getting updates in the field via the local electrical inspectors, ETC.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up in a family of electrical contractors. My grandfather started it. My dad, & most of my uncles all had their own electrical co. I unloaded trucks at a very young age, & I worked summer help as well. I loved the work because it was physical, interesting, & I was able to be outdoors alot.
