FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I actually love DJing it has never been about the money so I am flexible but I also value my time that I spend away from my family so it doesn't have to be pricey but I have to love the gig I'm doing or feel like I'm giving to a great cause like a non profit event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
first I have a candid phone discussion to see what they are looking for. I give them ideas, pricing, ask about space size, what type of music the clientele likes etc. then of course if I am selected contracts need to be signed and I always have insurance for the event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have basically over 20yrs of experience. I've dj'ed next to some really awesome DJs. I did have a DJ course in college that I taught the students and hung out with the teacher who was besties with Frankie Knuckles. I was about 20 and already knew a ton about DJing like blending scratching loops sampling you name it.
