FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on what service is requested, the size of the area to be treated and the surfaces. Example: remediation in an attic may require removal of blown-in/batt insulation, containment, product application & sanitization, fogger, sealer and equipment. We may be asked to remove some or all of the insulation, add more insulation to bring it up to code, install baffles to increase circulation and help minimize moisture accumulation and/or installation of external venting. In other cases, attics may be so narrow as to require dry-ice blasting which requires special equipment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet the customer and discuss their needs and plans. If the property has suffered damages, we document the damage then put together an estimate to remove all infected surfaces and leave the areas ready for repair - not all customers want clean-up and repairs - and we don't press. The customer can review our estimate against other companies and, if they feel we fit their needs, we prepare all documents needed by the homeowner/property manager/condo board, i.e., certificate of insurance, bond, copy of license, other. We also request any special protocols the owners/managers might have in place for the property to ensure that we follow all the rules.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every member of our statt has been trained, for years, on the various services we offer and are tested on a regular basis to ensure that they keep up-to-date with new technology, products and equipment in our industry. Our Inspectors, Project Managers and Team Leaders have worked under skilled Technicians and shown knowledge of the various services we provide for years before they move up to these positions. The are also accredited by IICRC and RSA. Most importantly, they have to show respect for the customers and properties they are servicing or they are released by our company.
