I hired Michael May and Street Light Entertainment to provide entertainment for my wedding reception in January of 2014. It was held in a 150 year old historical site, Clayville, in rural central Illinois. Mike was on time and ready to go, well before the reception started. He followed our directions and was very courteous and listened carefully to all our instructions. (In addition to Michael, we had instruments set up for our guests to perform, as many of them were musicians, and Michael filled in the gaps in between. So it was crucial that he was attentive, and flexible.) He also provided music through the dinner portion of the evening. Mike was willing and prepared to play any song we asked for, and even took extra measures both beforehand, (by quizzing us on what we wanted on our playlist), and during the reception, by taking measures to be sure he had internet resources at a remote location without internet. Mr. May was available to announce the itinerary, but allowed my wife and I to be the center of attention. It was a great experience, beginning to end. Not only would I recommend Street Light, I would definetly hire them again, for any function.

Michael May met with us early on in our engagement to get a feel for what we wanted for our reception needs. He was so organized and had a itinerary already laid out for us, which was extremely helpful! He was great at getting back to us via email too, which made it easy with how busy we were with other wedding planning. At the reception, he helped make the atmosphere truly special for us as we celebrated our love with family and friends. Street Light DJ Service is a huge blessing to whoever uses their services! You don't have to worry about a thing.

When you inquire about our services, we like to set up a time in person to meet with you and discuss your event. If you would rather meet over the phone we can accommodate that as well. Our goal is to make booking your event as easy as possible but at the same time making sure all of the bases are covered.
