I help students become confident, motivated, and successful—both in school and in the college admissions process.
With a Master’s degree and over 15 years of experience, I specialize in guiding students from feeling overwhelmed to becoming independent, high-performing learners with strong, competitive applications.
My work combines academic tutoring with high-level college admissions strategy. I support families through every stage of the process—from strengthening grades and study habits to building a compelling application narrative and submitting polished, standout materials.
I specialize in:
• College, private school, and transfer applications
• Personal statements, supplemental essays, and interview preparation
• School selection and admissions strategy
• Study skills, executive functioning, and time management
• Test preparation (ISEE, academic exams, writing assessments)
• Humanities, English, History, Social Sciences
• Math and Science (K–12 support)
My approach is highly individualized. I use a question-based (Socratic) method to help students think critically, deeply understand material, and retain it long-term—not just memorize for tests. I connect learning to each student’s interests, making sessions engaging, relevant, and effective.
I design customized lesson plans that break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps using real-world examples. At the same time, I help students develop structure, accountability, and confidence—skills that directly impact both academic performance and admissions outcomes.
I have extensive experience working with High Preforming students, as well as students with ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences. I also work with students who may be struggling with motivation, helping them build momentum and a more positive relationship with school.
For college counseling, I provide comprehensive, start-to-finish support—helping students identify their strengths, develop a clear personal narrative, and present themselves in a way that is both authentic and competitive. We discuss extra-curricular and volunteerism to improve each students acceptance rate.
My goal is not only strong academic results and successful admissions outcomes, but helping each student become more independent, confident, and capable in their learning.
I work with families who are committed, responsive, and serious about long-term results.
If you are looking for structure, accountability, and high-level guidance, I am an excellent fit.
