I had a different roofer put on a flat roof, and it had 2 leaks. I called that roofer out again, and he argued with me, then tried to fix them, and one leak got fixed. The other leak became a sporadic problem about every 6 months. I called Loyola Roofing after losing confidence with the original roofer. Phillip was very knowledgeable, pointed out a number of flaws that the original roofer made, suggested solutions to the observed problems, and pointed out some good maintenance issues for the rest of roof. Everything he said made sense and I went with his suggestions. I was very happy with Loyola Roofing, since I was glad to be with a reputable roofer who appeared to know roofing and that I could rely on for reliable work. I did pay more for the fixes than I had hoped, but I am confident that a number of mistakes made by the original roofer are now under control. In addition, Loyola Roofing was reliable, timely, and provided me estimates for all possible repairs, and prioritized them when I asked. I will definitely do business with them again.

Contacted Loyola Roofing and Phil answered on the first ring. We set an appointment for a free estimate. Not knowing whether we would need a repair or an entire replacement, he walked us through as he pointed to the weak spots causing the leaks. He then explained the entire process, and materials that would be used. He returned the following day. He was prompt, conscientious,efficient, honest and came in on budget. We will use this company again.

We found Loyola Roofing through thumbtack and couldn't be happier with the experience... Put in request for a quote within 30 minutes Phil Rich from Loyola Roofing called me and was out to inspect our roof that day. He was very professional and knowledgeable about our needs. We got a very fair price for the work to be preformed, complete tear-off with lots of wood damage, that was pretty apprent prior to the tear-off. Loyola tore off the old roof, repaired the rotten wood, reshingled, installed flashing and drip edge in areas that had none before. They put a nice flat roof torch down on an almost flat roof area that had shingles before and leaking and cleaned up in one day. All I can say is that an exceptional crew showed up to work. Thank you Phil and crew very pleased.. Would refer them to anyone in need.

Though I live in Connecticut, I am originally from Waukegan, where my parents, who are in their mid-80s, still live. Whenever, I visit them, I try to ensure their house is in order – literally. While there in March, they mentioned they had a leak in their ceiling after a storm. The insurance adjuster who came said it was not major, but would require a roofer to make some seals around the vents on the roof. I looked around on the web and Loyola Roofing was one of three places I called. I really needed someone to come promptly as I wanted to get it taken care of before I returned to Connecticut. Phillip came out that weekend. He completed the job and afterward, he inspected the roof. While up there, he noted something the adjuster seemed to have missed: a big hole on the other side of the house near the roof-line where it appeared an animal had torn and gotten in. I was glad he spotted it. The pest control guy came out and said it was a squirrel. I learned a lot about squirrels beyond the creatures that grab acorns and scurry up trees. He set the traps and said he would be back in a week to check them. I would be gone by then. A week later, after the pest control guy collected the traps and completed his part in sealing the hole, we needed Phillip to return and do more work to replace the shingles and wood. Though I was in Connecticut, nearly a thousand miles away, Phillip kept me informed all along the way. When he encountered trouble matching the shingles to the house, he went to Chicago and found the shingles to match as close as possible to the original. When bad weather kept him from coming out on the day he was scheduled to complete it, he texted or called me. He was respectful, conscientious and understanding of my desire to ensure my parents had their repairs done. I would recommend Phillip to anyone who needed their roof repaired.
