I am a professionally educated photographer and expertise in both audio and visual media production. Trained by some of Chicago's top filmmakers and broadcast legends in both TV and radio.
Through the last couple of years I have been able to hone my craft and establish myself as an artist and a professional. Being in customer service since I was a kid, taking care of people has always been second nature for me.
My shoots are always fun and creative and I promise if it is your first time in front of a camera or you have no idea what you want, I will work closely with you to maximize your comfort and treat you like family. That’s why I put my family name first.

We hired Saldierna Media Arts for our wedding yesterday, March 2nd 2020. We would definitely recommend him to people, He made us feel like he was part of our family and gave us ideas on where to take photos. He did an excellent job and we are still waiting for our photos but no rush we can wait. He also spoke some Spanish so that was great since my husband and family only talk Spa

Julian photographed my engagement proposal on the top of a high-rise building in Chicago in very windy conditions, and he did an incredible job! Julian captured everything we wanted, from close-ups to wider shots of the Chicago skyline and lake. Julian is very personable and it was great working with him. I would highly recommend Julian for any photo shoot!

I hired Julian’s services to do a photoshoot of my proposal at Adler Planetarium in Chicago. Julian was very professional in his work. He took time to understand what I wanted and gave some of his ideas from his past photo shoots. He was on time at the location, actually a bit early and explained me how this will go. He clicked amazing photos and delivered them on time as he promised. I was totally amazed by his work and I even asked him to be a photographer at my wedding if he’s open to an international travel. You’ll not be disappointed with Julian!!!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I love this line of work. While it is my primary source of income, I don't believe in charging an arm and a leg for a photo/video shoot. I guarantee we will come to a price both parties are happy with.
With the current covid climate, I have been much more accommodating to all sorts of clients.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my customers to understand what they are looking for and showing them my enthusiasm for a good photo. If I understand their vision, or if they are coming to me for mine, I can ensure 100% satisfaction every time. Most importantly, my shoots are fun!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've always had an eye for photography, even as a kid I preferred holding the camera than being in the family photo. I took a couple of classes in high school, and I've taken tips learning from friends and coworkers along the way. I honed my craft while learning under professional videographers and photographers since 2019 at the Illinois Media School in Lombard. Now I have become a professional in my own right.
