FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are no two yards the same. Some lawns have complex landscaping and take a lot of time to trim around. Hills, trees and other obstacles slow down the mowing process. More time equals larger costs to the company. I would love to have some way to absorb the cost of extra time but you have to pay for help you can trust and unfortunately creates larger costs to my customers. I try to provide a general cost for a typical size lot but that price cannot fit every lawn and only provides a starting point.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continually read articles on the Internet, live and die by the lawn bible and have my fertilizing/chemical distributor I call for my most complicated projects.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I enjoy working outside and transforming lawns to look nice.
