Introduction: William Sanchez began his accounting career in 2006 when he joined the Wisconsin Department of Revenue (WDOR), where he performed books and records auditing in the following areas: sales and use tax; withholding tax; and corporate franchise and individual income tax for small to medium entities. After gaining experience at WDOR, began to audit large entities and excelled in solving complex tax issues in both Wisconsin and Illinois. After 12 years of employment with WDOR, William excitedly decided to open his own accounting firm in early 2018 to utilize his broad knowledgebase and specialized audit and taxation expertise. He currently serves start-up companies and small to medium companies helping to expand their businesses. William is currently studying for the CPA examination in order to earn the Certified Public Accountant certification. William grew up in Colombia, South America. After moving to the United States, he proudly earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Northeastern University at Chicago.
