I could not be grateful enough to have found Nikki on Thumbtack! She blew us away with her ability to wrangle all 9 of us for outdoor family portraits. She captured the best photos I've ever seen of my three wild nephews (7, 5, and 3 years old). When we posed for pics she helped us all to be at the right angles and coordinated. The boys were totally at ease with her and we all had a really great time. She is very professional, her edits were tasteful (not overly filtered), her prices are beyond fair, and we now have a large album of beautiful photos that capture our family at it's best. Highly recommend contacting Nikki. I'm booking her again for my other side of the family and will continue to reach out to her in the future. THANK YOU, NIKKI!Jun 10, 2017Verified
Nikki made us feel at ease and comfortable. She was wonderful with our 3 year old son and walked us through the process. I will definitely book our next family photos with her!Jun 30, 2019Verified

Nicole was a pleasure to work with! We felt very comfortable with her and the photos were excellent. You can tell she wants to make sure the customer is more than satisfied with the session and final outcome. Would definitely hire her again!Sep 24, 2018Verified
I hired Nikki to take photographs of a painting which was located in her local area. From the get go, Nikki was ON TOP of this project, coordinating with museum personnel, keeping me posted and making recommendations. Lastly, she used her flawless photographic skills to provide me with FAR MORE than what I expected! She is a true professional and I highly recommend her!Jun 17, 2016Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I don’t do packages. When I first started out, I debated this system in my mind and wondered if I should create pricing in this format simply because everyone does it that way. But, I never liked the idea of nickel and diming families per hour (or per image). That may come off as insensitive, but think about it this way… The work and product I offer is obtained through a process that really can’t be altered. It requires a set (minimum) amount of time, certain lenses, a hefty investment in personal time spent getting to know you and your family, and an extensive post production process where I agonize over things you probably don’t care to ever know about. If I took away any part of this, you wouldn’t be getting the best value for your money, and I wouldn’t be creating the best images for you. With that said, photography has become a true passion of mine and I don't do this out of a need for income but out of a desire to create something a family can cherish. I want to remain affordable to everyone so while my prices may be low (in comparison to fellow photographers) I do that out of a love of the process and hope it is not misconstrued as a reflection of my ability.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Conversation. This could be from a potential client reaching out to us through our “Let’s Meet” page, a referral from a previous client, or a face to face meeting with someone looking for a photographer. The conversation usually leads to me figuring out a high level overview of what the potential client is looking for and determining if it’s something I: A) offer and/or B) are available for and/ or C) want to take on.
