Mr. Nelson resolved my divorce in for 4 months after replacing my prior attorney. He and his associates are very knowledgeable understanding and aggressive at taking care of their client. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate is $275/hr and I do require a retainer of $2,500.00 for pre-decree cases.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do not charge for an initial consultation. The consultation is confidential and I can explain the court process and answer any questions you may have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years of experience as a litigator handling the following types of cases: child custody, visitation, child support, maintenance, distribution of assets and debts, QDRO's and division of retirement accounts, criminal law, juvenile law and traffic cases.
I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Bradley University in 1996 and received my Juris Doctorate degree from The John Marshall Law School in 1999. I was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1999.
