Knowing Rachel for 8+ years prior to our sitting, I expected the best and that is what she delivered. My family, me, my wife and daughter and our golden retreiver, the main clown in the group, took advatage of a sunny fall day and spent about 90 minutes outside moving from location to location taking advantage of shadows, sun, a pond and lingering fall leaves. We took close to three dozen pictures. Rachels approach was always vibrant, positive and accomodating. Her open mind and her patience, especially as we tried to pose the puppy, was refreshing. She loves animals and it shows. On a wall in our home there hangs a photo, taken many years ago, of a much loved yellow labrador and our children. We intend to ask Rachel to follow us to the same location, same time of year and recreate with our new four legged family member. Rachel immerses herself into the work and she makes it fun. Utilizing her business in the future is a given.

Rachael was wonderful to work with; she put us all at ease and captured the essence of our family. Our son is on the Autism spectrum and she managed to coax not only a smile out of him but some straight up hamming for the camera. Rachael's photos turned out amazingly; I'm so thrilled that we chose her to photograph our family. She took time to hear what we would like, had ideas of her own, and managed to merge our ideas to get the best possible photos possible. I would highly recommend her!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started shooting photos when I was young! I can remember when I traveled, I always had my camera with me, snapping away. It's something that has always been a part of my life, something I love! It just evolved from there. I started doing photo shoots a few years ago and eventually incorporated so that I could do what I love full time. It's the best choice I ever made!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best advice I can give when looking for a photographer is to ask questions if you are unsure of things and vocalize what your desired end product is. When both the photographer and client are on the same page, working together, the end product is beautiful!
