Derek from Urban Handyman was amazing. He replied quickly to request for work sent and promptly showed up to complete the job. He cut 7 doors for me after a recent carpet job and made sure they were done right. He wanted to make sure that he didn't cut to much off nor cut to little. In 2 instances rather than saying "this is good enough" he took doors down a second time to cut a little more off to perfection. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I know I will be using him for a future project as well. He is professional, courteous, and personable. His rates are fair and a good value for work completed.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is a $100 minimum that is applied towards the project. In the case of smaller projects, the minimum may cover the cost.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer and I will go over the project, I will put together a quote and submit it to the customer via email or text. The customer will select approve or deny in the quote. If approved, we will then schedule the project. Once the project is complete, the customer has the option to pay via cash or card.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started in high school vocational calss - building trades. After graduating I began working as a trim carpenter and then also started remodeling.
