Nate has absolutely transformed the way my daughter thinks about her voice and herself as a vocalist. Patient, challenging but supportive, and responsive to her needs. He respects her as an artist and cares about her as an individual. I can't say enough about the impact he has had on our lives. Highly recommend Nate for anyone who wants to take voice lessons, from kids to adults.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are a studio that wants to nurture talent and potential without burning a hole in our clients' pockets. To avoid money being a deterrent from getting the help you need, we have a standard rate which is then adjusted on a sliding scale based on financial need. If you're someone who has the desire and motivation to grow as a singing artist, we want to work with you!!!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We schedule a phone/zoom call where I get some onboarding information, and on this call we schedule your free sample lesson. After we meet for your sample lesson, I send over a contract and studio policy that details the logistics of scheduling, payment, and other important information.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a professor/instructor of voice/voice pedagogy at The Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University and DePauw University. I'm also a certified vocologist and voice researcher. A vocologist is someone who specializes and practices habilitative voice care for all professional vocalists, whether they're singers, teachers, actors, dispatchers, lawyers, etc.. I'm currently finishing up coursework for my Doctorate in Music at Indiana. This summer, I will also be participating in a workshop in Malmköping, Sweden titled, "The Science of the Singing Voice," hosted by some of the world's most effective voice researchers and teachers.
