FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have invested in a few different workshops this year. In May, I am taking a newborn workshop that I am super excited about!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would say, first, look at their portfolio. What you see is what you get, sort of thing. Every photographer has their own style, so know that is the same style you will see in your photos. And be willing to invest. This is such a perfect time to capture your little one. It is so worth it to hire a professional that will give you memories you will forever cherish and will treat your new little one with the upmost care.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish the customers knew how much time and money goes into being a newborn photographer. It has taken a lot of dedication to have come this far. Photographers that are charging $50-$150 for a newborn session with all the images are not making any money and most likely are not a legitimate, tax paying, business. Experience is so important when it comes to putting your newborn in someone else's hands.
