If you are reading this review because you are thinking of having your wood floors installed or refinished this has been my experience with the company Classic Floors in Fort Wayne Indiana. When we first went to their place of business we were met by Kay. She showed us into the show room of wood floors, you felt as if you were in a business that did quality work. We did the rental of their equipment instead of them doing the work. When you rent from classic floors you use the same equipment and products they use when they do a job. I had to do some repair work on my floor and Pat was very helpful and patient in telling me how to do so. Kay was knowledgeable on getting me the correct amount of wood for the repair. When you rent the equipment, Pat is very good at making sure you have an understanding of how the equipment works. We actually had hands on training prior to walking out the door of their shop with the equipment. Pat went above and beyond by even telling us how to take care of any mistakes we may cause while stripping the floor, such as drum marks in the floor. They may be a little more costly than a box store (Home Depot or Lowes), but they give you their support and knowledge. Pat even gave us his cell phone number and told us to call if we had any problems. I did have to call Pat and Kay for advice and they were very prompt at getting me the answers I needed. The floor turned out beautiful and we are really glad that we were able to do our floors with their help. If you can afford it, I would suggest letting Classic Floors to do your floors for you. It is a lot of work; if you’re willing you can do it with their guidance and quality products that you can’t get at a box store.
