FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of my pricing is honest. I would never attempt to cheat anyone I work with because I want to build a relationship. I’d rather still have your business 10 years from now than try to cheat you out of a few dollars now. Also, I’d rather still have MY business 10 years from now; angry customers doesn’t sound like it’ll get me there.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, when I meet new customers I focus on becoming familiar with him/her and their needs so that I know how best to meet those needs. I try to keep my customers as comfortable as possible during the process. I take notes about the job, explain my pricing and confirm a date and time that works for us both. Then we get it done!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started this type of work because my grandmother was sick and she couldn’t do much for herself. I just started helping her clean around the house and it took off from there. I set a goal to start a small business (a brand) this year and I did it. And I’m doing moving jobs and managing all these projects that I didn’t know I’d ever have experience with. It’s exciting for me and I’ve learned so much.
