Introduction: Based on the number of hires and five star reviews I’m grateful to again be the first choice for those seeking top notch guitar instruction in Indianapolis and surrounding communities for 2024. In addition to lessons at my studio in Westfield, Indiana I offer instruction to my clients in their homes. This is a niche service that my competitors for the most part don’t offer. There is no substitute for the personal interaction that occurs when sitting down with an instructor; that alone greatly increases a student’s chances of success. I also offer lessons online via Zoom. Although I prefer to teach in person, my students who have chosen online lessons have had good results.

Having zero formal lesson experience prior to learning from Mark, I was nervous and, admittedly, doubtful of finding tangible value through lessons that I couldn’t find myself through material online. Looking back only a couple of months later, I couldn’t have been more wrong. Working with Mark grants you access to an invaluable wealth of knowledge and experience. He tailors instruction to students’ specific goals, organizes lessons in a way that makes sense, and most importantly: inspires me to really push myself to become a better guitarist. Learning to play guitar by myself has been great but at some point, like with all guitarists, my development slowed to a halt. Having Mark over for lessons has pushed me past this rut and beyond, and I think that speaks volumes to his ability to teach and inspire.

Mark has been an excellent match for my teenage son. After the first lesson my son said “wow he’s really good I really liked the lesson”, he looks forward to each one. It’s also really nice that he comes to you. Every week I can hear my sons improvement. I highly recommend Mark, so glad I didn’t go anywhere else!
