After taking lessons with Gareth I've become a lot more confident in my playing and have greatly improved my understanding of guitar and music in general. The lessons are challenging but honestly it's a huge plus -- he teaches in a way that's designed to make you improve, and you don't get better at anything without pushing yourself. I've enjoyed lessons more than I thought I would and each makes for a fun hour to look forward to during the week. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gareth to anyone; novice, intermediate, touring pro, and bedroom virtuoso players can all benefit from his teaching.

Craig is awesome! In all honesty, I couldn't ask for a better guitar instructor. I've played different instruments over the years, and have dealt with all kinds of musical instructors, and Craig is by far my favorite. He's extremely patient, has incredible knowledge on music theory, he's not super pushy, and is just all around a friendly guy. As long as you have the drive, he will take you however far you want to go with your guitar development. He does a great job of mixing the lessons up from week to week, and he builds the lessons off of what your interested in. I will admit that I was a little skeptical about the whole lesson over skype thing at first, but I have been nothing but impressed with Craig, and plan to continue getting lessons from him for a long time haha...

Having zero formal lesson experience prior to learning from Mark, I was nervous and, admittedly, doubtful of finding tangible value through lessons that I couldn’t find myself through material online. Looking back only a couple of months later, I couldn’t have been more wrong. Working with Mark grants you access to an invaluable wealth of knowledge and experience. He tailors instruction to students’ specific goals, organizes lessons in a way that makes sense, and most importantly: inspires me to really push myself to become a better guitarist. Learning to play guitar by myself has been great but at some point, like with all guitarists, my development slowed to a halt. Having Mark over for lessons has pushed me past this rut and beyond, and I think that speaks volumes to his ability to teach and inspire.

He is communicative and willing to work around our schedules if we need to switch the day. You can tell that he really enjoys teaching and his passion for the guitar makes him genuine. The location and price per session were by far the best I found when researching on Thumbtack. Steve is awesome and I would recommend him to work with any age and ability.
